Films

We showed a few films during the event. Here are their descriptions and links to them.

Winter Aware
Tahoe Nordic Search and Rescue Team produced this free 45-minute film on winter safety. Read a review.

The Cross Country Experience: Bill Koch
This was originally produced by Kodak about thirty years ago and still a lot of fun. Here’s more information.

Meathead Films
Follow a bunch of crazy kids from Burlington, Vermont, as they ski in impossible conditions around the northeast and Canada. My favorite is Epoch, in which they ski each of the highest peaks in 5 northeastern states: Mt. Greylock (MA), Mt. Washington (NH), Mt. Marcy (NY), Mt. Mansfield (VT), and Katahdin (ME). Read more about them here.
